Kentucky Virtual Adult Education is perhaps the most important site for adult education students and staff.  From here, staff members can access professional development courses, and students can access instructional programs such as WIN.   
Kentucky Adult Education site provides GED information, Professional Development opportunities, adult education policies, information reporting questions and answers, and other information of particular interest to adult education staff members.
Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) provides valuable information about financing a college education.  Tools include a financial aid calculator and student loan and scholarship information.  
Scholarship Help provides helpful information on finding and applying for college scholarships.  The site provides links to numerous scholarship websites.  It also includes tips for completing scholarship essays, requesting letters of recommendation, and making a good impression during scholarship interviews.  
Kentucky Council on Post-Secondary Education offers a variety of information on post-secondary education in Kentucky, including information on college admissions and financial planning.  It also provides statistical data on education-related topics for Kentucky.   
Steck-Vaughn offers a free GED practice site to help learners become familiar with the kinds of questions they can expect to see on the Official GED Test.  The site provides practice questions and feedback.  
Online adult education resource database provides instructors with the the opportunity to search for and locate instructional tools pertaining to a wide variety of content areas.   
National Institute for Literacy website provides resources on research-based assessment practices for the adult education classroom. Check out the publication, Research-Based Principles for Adult Basic Education Reading Instruction.  
Office of Vocational and Adult Education provides sources of research on adult education instructional strategies.

Test Taking Tips provides many useful tips for preparing for tests, taking tests, taking notes, studying, etc.

Tests.com provides test preparation for several standardized tests including the GED, ACT, and SAT.  
Number2.com is a test preparation site that offers practice in ACT, SAT, and GRE skills.  The site also includes a Vocabulary Builder section.  
The Official ACT site provides valuable information for individuals who plan to take the ACT assessment.  The site includes a practice test for each section of the assessment and test taking tips. 
Test Preview provides free practice tests and resources for GED, ACT,  and other standardized tests.
